Research Analyst

Overview
The Research Analyst plays a crucial role in data collection from Financial Institutions. This role primarily leverages websites, phone calls, and emails to gather data concerning pricing, fees, rates, and other pertinent data sets. Precision in data entry and validation are pivotal. Mastery of the tasks, responsibilities, and assignments is essential for consideration for further advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management

  • Conduct ongoing research into additional banking products, features, rates, and fees. 
  • Explore new financial institutions to support the NOVA application. 
Research and Initiatives 
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with clients and prospects.
  • These skills are essential for daily prospecting via phone and email.
  • Clear, effective verbal communication is required for conference calls and sales presentations.
  • The Senior Account Executive will contribute 25% - 50% of the total verbal communication on Discovery conference calls and/or Sales Presentations.

Team Collaboration and Autonomy

  • Complete tasks by setting deadlines and showcasing adaptability by assisting teammates when needed.
  • Independent Accountability and Initiative.
  • Effective collaboration with the team.

Documentation and Storage

  • Save related collateral and resources in applicable folders, ensuring traceability and systematic retrieval for future reference.

Data Updates and Research 

  • Refresh outdated data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct ongoing research into new financial institutions to support the NOVA application.

Overview

The Marketing Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing the marketing technology stack, streamlining workflows, and enabling data-driven decision-making to enhance marketing performance. This role is essential for driving efficiency and alignment across our marketing and business development efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration and impactful campaigns.

 

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Technology Management

  • Own and optimize the marketing tech stack, including core platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Work with tools such as Ceros, PlayHt, Trello, Riverside, HeyGen, ChatGPT, and other automation or AI tools to support marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure integrations between platforms are optimized for data accuracy and usability.

Campaign Operations

  • Build, deploy, and track performance of email campaigns, landing pages, and workflows in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement A/B tests and analyze results to refine strategies.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, lead generation, and pipeline contribution.
  • Analyze marketing metrics to uncover insights and make recommendations for optimization.

Process Improvement

  • Design and implement streamlined workflows to support marketing initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure timely task automation and alignment between marketing and business development teams.

Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with the Business Development team to align marketing campaigns with sales strategies.
  • Provide training and support to maximize the team’s use of marketing tools.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, demand generation, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot required) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello) and content creation platforms (e.g., Riverside, HeyGen).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools and an ability to create efficiencies in processes.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies, particularly in financial services, is a plus.
